The Cité des Télécoms:
Since 2006, the Cité des Télécoms has had one mission:
to help you fall in love with science and new technologies without ever getting bored.
Head to this “big white ball” in Pleumeur Bodou, where the first transatlantic transmissions took place!
Once there, enjoy a 25-hectare park featuring 3,000 m² of exhibits and two must-see highlights: the Radome and its antenna.
There’s always something happening year-round: virtual reality, immersive experiences, exhibits, shows, a kids’ club, outdoor games…
Here, science becomes a playground—you learn, you have fun, and above all, you’ll want to come back.

Your admission ticket includes a wide range of activities:

A permanent exhibit tracing the history and evolution of telecommunications.
Temporary exhibits dedicated to current scientific and societal themes.
An immersive tour of the Radôme, the world’s largest unsupported inflatable dome, which protects the giant PB1 antenna.
The Kids’ Corner, a play area specially designed for children ages 3 to 10.
A 25-hectare park offering vast green spaces perfect for relaxation and exploration.
Additional activities for learning in new ways: virtual reality experiences, escape games, guided tours… There’s something for all ages and interests!

Immersive Radôme Tour:
July 11, 1962, Pleumeur-Bodou: the first television images crossed the Atlantic. A historic moment that changed the world. Today, step inside the Pleumeur-Bodou Radôme. Standing before the magnificent giant antenna—a true example of industrial beauty—feel the technological feat and the emotion, and experience the birth of modern telecommunications as if you were there.

Permanent Exhibits:
Exceptional collectible artifacts, a reconstruction of a cable-laying ship, the secrets of fiber optics and radio waves, exponential technological advancements… Let yourself be swept away on a thrilling adventure through the world of telecommunications! An enriching and interactive experience for all ages.

Temporary Exhibitions:
Every two years, a new temporary exhibition opens in the heart of our exhibition center. Designed to surprise, spark curiosity, and encourage discovery, these exhibitions explore a variety of themes related to science and technology.
Innovation, digital technology, artificial intelligence, space, the human body, the environment, and major societal issues: each exhibition offers a unique perspective on the world around us through interactive displays, hands-on activities, immersive experiences, and content accessible to all.
Designed for visitors of all ages, they invite everyone to learn while having fun and to gain a fresh perspective on the sciences that shape our daily lives.

Enjoy extraordinary experiences through virtual reality and discover what’s impossible to experience in real life.
Put on a virtual reality headset and let yourself be transported to fascinating worlds: soar to new heights, travel through time and space, explore inaccessible places, or dive into unique immersive experiences.
