Located in the bay of Paimpol, the Beauport Maritime Abbey is a preserved monastic complex, and a remarkable model of religious architecture in Brittany.

The abbey was founded in the 13th century by canons Prémontré; for five centuries, they shaped this place and its environment in order to meet both the monastic rule and the needs of community life.

Abandoned to the Revolution, the buildings of the abbey were assigned to various uses (stable, town hall, dwelling, school, cider house) before being classified as a Historical Monument in 1862.

Gradually restored and enhanced since, the Beauport site is now discovered through:
- Free or guided visit of the monuments and the domain;
- Exhibitions ;
- Shows and cultural events.
