The Kervoalant marsh

The swamp of Kervoalant connects the Île-Grande with the continent.

This marshy area was previously the only possible land link between the Île-Grande and the mainland (here: Trébeurden). On the Île-Grande, facing the marsh, we can admire the important washing place of Run Losquet.

Marshes, natural sites once depreciated, are of great richness, both in terms of flora and fauna. You will be able to notice the specific plants which develop there, and to observe many birds like the white egret.
