The Kervoalant marsh

The swamp of Kervoalant connects Ile-Grande with the continent.

This marshy area was previously the only possible land link between the Big Island and the mainland (here: Trébeurden). On Ile-Grande, facing the marsh, we can admire the important wash Run Losquet.

Marshes, natural sites once depreciated, are of great richness, both in terms of flora and fauna. You will be able to notice the specific plants which develop there, and to observe many birds like the white egret.
