Plougrescant, the gorse coast

At twenty kilometers east of the Pink Granit Coast, the Côte des Ajoncs (Gorse Coat) presents a geology and therefore different landscapes of the Pleumeur-Bodou region: it is no longer a question of "magmatic granite balls", but of angular granites which make the coastal landscapes very pretty.

In Plougrescant, walkers and hikers can explore the coast along the coastal path (GR34). They will admire the famous house between the two rocks, visible near the site of the Gouffre.

And by entering the lands, they will discover a building of unusual shape: the Saint-Gonery chapel of Plougrescant, superb ensemble (enclosure, pulpit, chapel, yews) testifying to the richness of the parish art in Brittany, and whose Twisted bell tower is a remarkable curiosity.
