Milliau Island
Accessible island at low tide - protected natural site
Located near the port of Trébeurden, Milliau Island is one of the largest island of the West Trégor.
Of one kilometer long with an area of 23 hectares, it is accessible on foot at low tide when the tidal coefficients allow it by a path of a hundred meters between the point of Castel and Milliau.
The island, property of the conservatory of the coast, is a pretty green setting: its flora is mainly composed of moors, ferns and maritime shrubs.
You will also discover a beautiful covered walkway and an old farmhouse, now converted into a cottage.
The island Milliau also offers a splendid panorama on the Île-Grande and its islets, on the superb dune of the Molène island as well as on all the bay of Lannion.
